Legend of the Dragon King Who to Roll First
A create-screen ranking that still respects the 战法道 triangle.
The Tier List Hub ranks activities. This page ranks create-a-character decisions. You only get one comfortable main in the first week of Legend of the Dragon King. Rebirth potions from VIP should land on that main. Use this if you are staring at three Chinese models and a Steam dragon.

Pick-order for a first main
1. Mage — if you are curious. Fastest feedback loop. You will see 神魔乱世 and maybe 黄泉幽冥 while other people are still on 传奇之路. You will die more. Read Mage. Good first main if you can tolerate corpse runs and you want the wiki’s continents page to stop being theoretical.
2. Taoist — if you are grindy. The VIP window wants 2,500 bosses at 220+. Taoist is the class that makes that number a schedule instead of a dare. Read Taoist. Good first main if you like pets and you do not need to open every tab this week.
3. Warrior — if you are social or idle. Keeps, flags, AFK packs. Read Warrior. Good first main if you already have two friends in a hall or you want 自动 to play while you do something else. Bad first main if you are solo and impatient.
That order is not a power ranking. It is a “what will make you log in tomorrow” ranking. The class hub explains the jobs without a number.
First alt
If the main is Mage, the alt is Taoist (VIP bar). If the main is Taoist, the alt is Mage (maps) or Warrior (siege). If the main is Warrior, the alt is Mage so you stop feeling late to every tab. Do not split gift codes across three babies. Redeem on the main (how to redeem).
Ranking modifiers that are not classes
- True skills — a stacked book can make your B feel like an A. See true skills.
- Dragon King Wrath — ignore-defence holy damage is a shared multiplier. See Dragon King set.
- Titan ice — Warrior PK bump only.
- Guild — Warrior and Taoist climb if 万盟大厅 is alive. Solo Mage still climbs maps.
- Patch day — Updates can invert a letter. This create-order is for Early Access as of September 2026.
What we are not ranking
We are not ranking cash-shop VIP skips versus the 免费会员 kill ladder. We are not ranking lookalike mobile games. We are not ranking the Soul Land novel’s martial souls. We are not ranking Roblox “Dragon King” experiences.
If a YouTuber’s thumbnail says “BEST CLASS 2026” with a different dragon, close it. We could not find a video that is actually Steam app 4773970, which is why this page has no embed.
A 30-second script at create
Can you stand dying? Yes → Mage. No, but you like bosses? → Taoist. No, and you have a guild or a second monitor? → Warrior. Still unsure? Mage, because rerolling a slow Warrior after you discover you hate melee is the longer misery.
Then go to town, recycle, warehouse, and do not click 转生挑战 until Getting Started says you may. The ranking is a create tool. The town loop is the game.
Siege mains should still read castle siege before they promise a hall they will be a Warrior. Promising Mage on a flag is how courtyards lose.
Roll one. Warehouse the potions. Play the job.

What should I roll if I only play one character?
Mage for curiosity, Taoist for the VIP bar, Warrior for AFK and keeps. That is a preference order, not a DPS order.
Is Warrior ever first pick?
Yes if you already have a hall or you want idle melee. No if you are solo and want new maps this week.
Should my alt be the opposite class?
Usually. Mage main → Taoist alt. Taoist main → Mage or Warrior alt. Do not triple-split rebirth potions.
